Travel the World with Postcards!

It's always a thrill to know you've got mail, especially a pretty snail mail like a postcard. While many of us dream of traveling the world, we are not always able to do so due to commitments or our financial ability (yes, mobility is a privilege)-- we can always turn to postcards!

Kids love mail, so do adults!

It's easy and cheap to send and it lets you interact with the world.

Admit it, while we drool over the idea of traveling 200 over countries like Robert L.Ripley (the inspiration behind Ripley's Believe it or Not), it's not something most of us can do. To have the masses trotting all over the globe like Ripley is a catastrophic trend for our dear Planet, if you count the carbon footprints.

I love postcards! You love postcards! We all love postcards!
Imagine receiving postcards from 200 over countries! To have a collection of that would not only mean you have meaningfully connected with at least 200 people around the globe, it also offers you an opportunity to learn about 200 countries. Imagine flipping through a sizeable collection of postcards from around the world, and the educational and entertainment value behind it. This activity would have an appeal for both children and adults alike.

So I'm introducing POSTCROSSING today.
They have about 400k registered users from 216 countries.
An average of about 500 000 postcards are sent in recent months.

Do it now:
You register an account
Create an interesting profile
Click "Send a postcard"

You will be randomly assigned a user to post to with an ID number to go along. The receiver in turn, must return a card to you. Once you are past your 1st card mark (meaning, sent and received and acknowledged on the other end), you are ready to do direct swaps where you make arrangements with people you are interested with on this platform and send them cards.

Thanks to Postcrossing, I got myself 5 addresses: France, America, Ukraine, Germany and Russia. Another user from the Philippines wanted a postcard from Singapore, so that's 6 countries in total. Later today, I will get some postcards and I'm ready to go! Happy Postcrossing!

These babies are ready
to travel to France, Russia,

Ukraine, Germany
 & the United States!
