Some Genius

Was changing bedsheets here. There were 3 single sized mattresses, 1 Queen sized, 10 pillows, 2 bolsters and 5 blankets. Changing their covers got me tired not purely because of their numbers.

I was stripping a mattress cover when I realised there's another cover beneath.
So I fumbled with the heavy mattress once more before fumbling the fresh cover on.

Then I realised a genius repeated this behaviour on another mattress.

And no, pillows aren't spared either. There was a pillow with two covers on.
Then I found another pillow with three covers on. So I patiently and obediently slipped them off layer after layer, feeling as if I solved the mystery of the shortage of pillowcases and mattress covers at home.

Then, I found the true work of a Genius. A flimsy pillow with four covers on. I stared at the pillow and wondered to myself "What does it mean?" and I mused just like the man who saw the double rainbow, except on verge of a single tear.
