When you download this game, you will either love it or hate it because all the instructions are in Japanese.
I love it because the cats are cute. When you play this application, you would be greeted by the adorable sight of these fellas.
This is the Mofu planet. The top panel tells you the size of your planet. Mine has grown substantially and became "Mt Fuji" size enough to fit 24 cats. The bigger your planet, the more cats it can accommodate.
On the planet, you can gather food items like "Fish" & "Bonito" at the pond, "Catnip" & "Cardboard" at the bush, "Apple" & " Twig" on the tree. Initially, you will only get apples and the normal cat shape brown food. You get a wider variety of food as your planet expands.
Select the corner below the panel and you will see the following buttons "Moving" & "Cancel" appear. Now you can now select any cat to feed the Mofu planet to make it grow. Once selected, an orange arrow appears above the cat. Click "Moving" to feed the cat to the Mofu planet, which will appear in the background and swallows all the cats in. The better evolved cats will give more points for your Mofu planet's growth.
Select "Mofo Cats Collection" at the bottom panel to see the cats you have managed to "evolve" or "mutate". There is about 30 different cats you can evolve through the food you feed.
*Note the normal brown cat food is like a random card.
When you feed:
Apple + Apple + Cat food, you get the sleepy cat if the cat food becomes a fish.
So here are some food combinations that I came up with that would produce a nice mutation. Since I have already played this for 2 days, I have yet to unlock all the different combinations. But it'll be fun to have more people trying this relaxing game out and share their combinations.
So I hope everyone will experiment with the feeding combinations and come up with successful mutations.
Some Combinations Tested on the Mofu Cat:
Apple + Apple + Twig = Mofu Cat
Apple + Cardboard + Apple = Mofu Cat
Cardboard + Apple + Apple = Mofu Cat
Cardboard + Carboard + Fish = Mofu Cat
Twig + Twig + Twig = Mofu Cat
Twig + Twig + Fish = Mofu Cat
Twig + Twig + Catnip/Weed = Mofu Cat
Bonito + Apple + Apple = Mofu Cat
Bonito + Bonito + Fish = Mofu Cat
Fish + Fish + Bonito = Mofu Cat
Fish + Fish + Catnip/Weed = Mofu Cat
Fish + Fish + Mouse = Mofu Cat
Can food + Can food + Fish = Mofu Cat
Catnip/weed + Apple + Apple = Mofu Cat
Twig + Fish + Catnip/Weed = Mofu Cat
Mouse + Mouse + Fish = Mofu Cat
Mouse + Fish + Fish = Mofu Cat
I suspect that to get the last few panel of mutations, you probably need to experiment feeding combinations on the evolved cats.
Interestingly, on a Mofu cat, three apples will give an Apple cat. But an Apple cat when fed three apples will give only a Mofu cat. This applies to many other mutated cats, the combination that yield them from Mofu cats will not make them produce another copy of the mutant but only a normal Mofu Cat.
